Q: Will eating match heads containing sulfur keep mosquitoes away? S.G., Dowagiac, MI
A: My old drill sergeant gave me that advice. It's a myth. Matches contain poisonous chemicals in addition to sulfur. Save them for cooking dinner and not your intestines.
